Description

West Lothian 50+ Network is a local charity supporting people aged 50 and over across West Lothian to stay active, connected and involved in their communities.

We offer a wide range of member-led groups, activities and social opportunities designed to support physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, confidence, friendship and community connection. Activities include social groups, interest groups, gentle physical activity, learning opportunities, outings and events.

Our activities are shaped by our members and supported by a small staff team, trustees and volunteers. Many of our groups are led or supported by members who share their skills, knowledge and interests with others.

The Network is particularly focused on helping people remain socially connected, reducing loneliness and isolation, and supporting older adults to continue enjoying active and fulfilling lives.

How do I access this?

• Self-referral. People can contact us directly by phone, email, through our website, or by visiting the Hub.

Is there a cost?

Annual membership is currently £36 per year. Some groups, activities, outings or events may have an additional cost.

Cost is not a barrier to participation. If anyone is struggling with the membership fee, we will support them so they can still access the Network.

Opening times

The Hub is open Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 2.00 pm.

Groups and activities also take place outwith these times and at other venues across West Lothian.
