Description

Rare-Breed Men Tribe is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) committed to improving mental wellbeing, reducing social isolation and strengthening families and communities across Scotland.

Through our Thrive Together West Lothian Project, we provide free, inclusive and culturally responsive wellbeing activities that encourage people to connect, build supportive relationships and improve their overall wellbeing. Our programmes are open to adults from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on people from ethnic minority communities who may experience barriers to accessing support.

Our activities include wellbeing workshops, men’s and women’s support groups, family events, fitness and dance sessions, creative activities, networking events, outdoor adventures, employability and career support, mentoring, volunteering opportunities and social connection programmes.

Our approach combines prevention, early intervention and community participation to help people feel connected, valued and empowered. By creating safe spaces where individuals can build friendships, access support and improve confidence, we contribute to healthier communities and improved mental wellbeing across West Lothian.
