Description

The Stepping Stones to Wellbeing service supports people within our local community to come together and participate in carefully developed groups and courses.

The groups/courses focus on key area such as:

  • mental wellbeing (five week group, two hours per session)
  • the impact of bereavement and loss (six week course, an hour and a half to two hours per session)
  • practical skills for life, including budgeting, healthy eating, being active and mental wellbeing (five week course, two hours per session)
  • money management masterclass (two week course, three hours per session)  
  • support for emotional and physical wellbeing workshop at a local retreat centre (1 full day course)

All our groups and courses are free of charge. They support people within the local community to make meaningful connections with each other, aimed at reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.

The service is self-referral. West lothian residents who are over the age of 18 can contact the service directly.  

SSTW group and courses are developed and delivered by qualified practitioners, including counsellors.
