Who is this for?

  • All children and young people (aged 9 – 17) living anywhere in Scotland with a health condition.


At Children’s Health Scotland, the health and wellbeing of children and young people lies at the heart of our work. Children’s Health Scotland provide information and support to children, young people and their families so they can access the best quality healthcare. Offering information on the needs and rights of children in hospital and in the community.

As an independent charity, they are not part of any health board or hospital, and can give information on any aspect of children and young people’s healthcare. This will sometimes mean enquirers will be signposted to other organisations as sources of help.

Delivered are the following services that support the health and wellbeing of children and young people:

  • Children and Young People Health and Wellbeing Services
  • Care Experienced Children and Young People Services
  • Children and Young People Health Rights Services
